About Grace
Hi I’m Grace DeJong (dee-young): ambitious problem solver, collaborator, joy-seeker, and empathetic creative.
I’ve finally created a place to share some of my architectural work, photos, sewing projects, travel, and more.
My favorite phrase is “Life is art” and the extended quote by Helena Bonham Carter. I use this as a reminder in everything I do, in an effort to leave things better than I found them, and to find the beauty in all things.
As a current student at NDSU, I am about to begin my master’s program. I’m the luckiest girl to be going to school and studying with some of my best friends, and I have the NDSU Architecture program and Alpha Gamma Delta to thank for that.

SKILLS
-
Revit is a go-to for BIM-based modeling, system integration, and collaboration. I am skilled in family-building, parametric models, sheet set up, view management, and early construction documentation.
-
The Adobe Creative Suite is an essential kit of tools for my design and work process. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign become extensions of my workflow, providing a medium for haptic and artistic flourishes to exist despite a sometimes rigid digital model. The creation of visuals and graphic compositions is one of my favorite parts of design.

Real time, hyper realistic rendering softwares help to create immersive walkthroughs, which are invaluable for understanding atmosphere, light, and materiality.
